About me

As the founder of Piepkorn Leadership Solutions, I bring over 25 years of experience developing leaders across global Fortune 500 companies. I’ve had the privilege of supporting leaders across industries from emerging talent to c-suite, and I’ve gained a clear understanding of the traits that set top performers apart.

I’ve always had to work hard for results. In college, I realized that for me, success required more than intelligence or effort, it demanded strategy. To navigate what I later discovered was Attention Deficit Disorder, I immersed myself in psychology, motivation, and goal-setting, developing personal systems that helped me thrive. That work led to graduating Magna Cum Laude in Psychology from Concordia College and later earning a Master’s in Human Resources from the University of Minnesota. This early curiosity about what drives success became the foundation of my coaching and development philosophy.

I found my calling in Leadership Development while working in Human Resources at Rosemount/Emerson Process Management - facilitating workshops, coaching high-potential leaders, debriefing 360 assessments, and designing mentoring programs. A highlight was facilitating workshops around the globe with leaders on how to motivate high performing teams. From Manila to Mexico City, Gothenburg to Pune, I saw firsthand that leadership is not a trait we’re born with, but a skill that can be learned and refined throughout one’s career.

Later, with Ameriprise Financial, I had the opportunity to focus on accelerating the development of high-potential and executive leaders - creating signature leadership programs, onboarding strategies, and an internal executive coaching practice.  Through it all, I’ve learned that leaders who invest in themselves with intention rise to the top.

That’s why I’m passionate about sharing tools, models, assessments, and insights that help people unlock their full potential, especially with those who need that extra spark to take their performance and careers to the next level.

Originally from Eastern Montana, I now live in the Twin Cities with my husband and two sons where I enjoy time with family and friends, gardening, traveling, reading, and crafting. I find joy in anything that lets me connect with people, explore the world, learn, and make things a little more beautiful along the way.
